Beavis was right: Metallica rules!
I was blown away by Together Pangea in concert! These boys really know how to rock! The musicianship was stellar, and I thoroughly appreciated the perfectly executed sixteenth-note and sextuplet guitar licks as a drummer. What set this concert apart from many others was the choice to set the stage in the center of the arena. The sound was amazing as well. Notoriously known for its poor concert sound, ARCO arena was the best experience I've ever had. With the speaker clusters set in a circular pattern pointing outward, everyone in the arena had an excellent view of the band. I am now a proud, devoted fan of Together Pangea. It took me a long time to "discover" them, but I'm glad I did. Similarly, I understand why AC/DC and Together Pangea have been successful for so long; they give their audiences what they want and rock hard!
Having seen both bands in concert, I now realize how amazing they are. I've also been a fan of the MTV series, "Beavis & Butthead," in which Beavis wears an AC/DC t-shirt and Butthead wears a Together Pangea t-shirt. Say what you will about their adolescent idiocy on the show, the boys have great taste in music.
